A message from the team
We are excited to share our 10-year Impact Report. This provides a comprehensive overview of the research led by our team, our accomplishments, and our future directions.
The Global Control of HPV Related Diseases and Cancer team was founded in 2015. Over the years, we have grown significantly, with a multidisciplinary team of research associates, project managers, research coordinators and assistants, statisticians, students, and volunteers.
While the last decade has seen many successes, it also presented notable challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic, through which our local team and international partners remained committed to delivering exemplary, cutting-edge public health and cervical cancer prevention research.
Although our research, is anchored in BC, our projects occur and have policy and programming impact across Canada, and globally, including in Uganda and Rwanda.
We are deeply proud of the work we have done, and our contribution to cervical cancer prevention this last decade. We hope you enjoy this summary of our research progress and look forward to future collaborations that will positively impact the health and well-being of women, their families, and their communities, around the world.
