Vaccination Projects
There are safe and effective vaccines that protect girls and boys against high risk strains of the HPV virus. In most high-income countries, the HPV vaccine is offered to girls, and sometimes boys, as part of a school-based program. In low and middle-income countries, vaccination program roll-out has lagged due to cost and resource challenges, however through global efforts such as GAVI , we are working to close this gap.
